Introducing Top Madsing: The Man Behind the Fighter

In the heart of Patthalung, South Thailand, a young boy's fascination with Muay Thai sparked a passion that stayed with him for years to come. That boy was Top Mardsing, also known as Madsing. He is now a rising pro fighter in the Muay Thai world, known and respected both inside and outside the ring.
Top's journey began at the age of 9. Growing up in a town where boxing was not just a sport but a way of life, he was drawn to the ring like a moth to a flame. He was inspired by a local boxer, and Top instantly knew that he wanted to follow in his footsteps.
“I saw my friend training, and I wanted to be like him, so I started training," Top recalls. "So, I started training, and Muay Thai is my life now.”
It wasn't long before Top's skills and dedication began to shine through. With the support of his friends and family, including three other boxers in the household, he started his journey that shaped his destiny. From the humble beginnings of training in a small Muay Thai gym in his hometown to the grand stages of international competition, Top is now a shining star and one of the world's best-kept secrets—not a secret for long! “I lost some fights, I won many, but win or lose, I wanted to get better for the next one, always better and stronger." he adds.
In addition to his role as a fighter, Top Madsing (or Mardsing) is also a dedicated trainer, sharing his knowledge and expertise with students of all levels at Khao Lak Muay Thai & Muay Boran, a Muay Thai training camp in Khaolak, Thailand. "Being a trainer feels good," he says. "Seeing my students get better and knowing that I helped them makes me proud and happy."
Outside the ring and the gym, Top's heart beats for his lovely wife, Pae, who is beautiful inside and out and stands by his man’s side through the highs and lows of his fighting career. "She supports me and understands me.” he says with a happy smile.
After being a fighter for about 2 decades, Top's fight history has an impressive list of achievements. From conquering the stages of ONE Championship to winning titles in the rings of Muay Xtreme, the highlights of his career are becoming an A08 International Muay Thai Champion, Patong Champion, and Khaolak Champion, earning him his sheeny shiny belts and a rightful place among the elite in the world of Muay Thai. Top has already left a mark on the sport, and the best of Madsing/Mardsing is yet to come.
Yet, despite all the success and his rise to fame, Top Madsing remains true to himself, training hard for each fight, staying humble not only as a fighter but as a trainer as well, and being eager to learn new ways of improving. His pre-fight routine is simple: "I just sleep and relax," he says. And as for any pre-fight jitters? Top shakes his head with a laugh, answering firmly, "No, no, no! No boom boom before fight, no."
As a trainer at Khao Lak Muay Thai, he teaches students at all levels with the same passion, attention, and patience, from beginners to pro fighters. His laugh will make you laugh, and his attention to detail will leave you in awe! He's truly an outstanding teacher to provide you with the perfect foundation if you are just starting off or sharing his elite-level battle-winning tips and tricks that he is actively using on the canvas and getting his hand raised by referees fight after fight. And when you ask him what his ultimate goal is, that’s what you get: “I want to be a role model for many kids and people in the world, motivate them to fight for their dreams and goals by showing how I’m fighting for mine.”
